Research Interests

I am interested in unsupervised learning techniques and the coupling of unsupervised with reinforcement learning with the goal of designing systems that can learn in the real-world. Current projects include: a recurrent version of SOM that works with on-line RL, a modular RL system, and a category-theoretic formulation of MDPs.
