Claudia Schiffer
(1970-)

Schiffer (pronounce: Shiffuh) and Schwarzenegger (Shwartsenegguh) and Schumacher (Shoomahhhuh) taught people to pronounce the German `Sch' just like the English `Sh', and the ending `er' more or less like the English `uh'.

Thus they earned the eternal gratitude of other ex-pats with weird German names, such as Schmidhuber (Shmidhoobuh).

Bio highlights:

1970: Born in Rheinberg
1987: Discovered in Düsseldorf
1990s: Becomes most expensive model
