I am a Post Doctoral Researcher at Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA) located in Lugano, Switzerland, where I did my PhD under supervision of Prof. Dr. Luca M. Gambardella and Dr. Alessandro Giusti.

My research focuses on human-robot interaction using pointing gestures. I am also interested in human perception, haptics, wearable electronics, teleoperation, and autonomous driving.

Before joining IDSIA I have been working as a visiting researcher at BioRobotics Lab at Korea University of Technology and Education (Korea Tech) led by Prof. Dr. Jee-Hwan Ryu (N.B. The Prof. Ryu's group is now with KAIST).

I am also the author of a somewhat popular open-source Google Chrome extension Wikipedia with MathJax that replaces bitmap equations and renders them with MathJax library. The official release is available at Chrome Web Store.

I like hiking, skiing, and taking photos.
